Blue Planet Black Hole (@ Barbican)

Barbican Centre

An art project by Nicky Deeley and Headway East London/ Submit to Love Studios artist Graham Naylor, Blue Planet Black Hole features three interlinking works about what it means to be human.

What's on the other side of a black hole? What do trees talk to each other about? What does it feel like to be a carbon atom in flight?

Two films and an audio dialogue connect the microscopic with the intergalactic; channeling the awe they both provoke. Join Nicky, Graham, arts educator Melissa Shinnie and artists from Submit To Love Studios for drawing and thinking workshops throughout the day: imagine your inner android or design a root system for the galaxy.

Part of Barbican's event Artist and the Machine - a day of talks, workshops & activities exploring the relationship between technology and creativity.
